I loved it!  Left my notes/suggestions at the end of the video!  Thanks for a great game!
(1 edit)

10/10 suspense short game!

My job is to FEED a MONSTER!! (Definitely not a human..) Very fun to play 😁 keep ‘em coming!

P.s. yes I’m wearing a robe 😂

I really like these types of games where you look out for these entities. Usually these types of game start when they breakout, but, its a nice change of pace being one of the "operators" instead.

I thought this game was great! Bit disturbing, and creepy! I had great fun playing this one. Here is my playthrough with my final thoughts at the end!

I did a 3 scary games including this one :) I liked this!

Best game of yours by far. Scares are as good as always but the sense of dread really made this one.

Gameplay en ESPAÑOL.

Good game, I really found it interesting.

Really interesting game.

 S
Super excited to see more on this game, I gave my review in the video.

FULL GAME ABOVE^^

i really really enjoyed this! i thought visually it was really pleasing to look at the mix between good graphics and a static type look really worked, the story was original and different, my only feedback would be put more options in, like you should be able to open all of the doors and rather let the prisoners attempt to esccape or overfeed the alien maybe make him to strong, like what im getting at is i think a little bit of diversity and different endings would only make this game even better than it already is, honestly though fantastic job and im looking forward to whatever you got in the works next!

The concept here was really neat, and I had fun playing it, good work :)

Awhh I really liked this experience! The environment is nice and simple, I liked the colour choices a lot and wish we were able to explore just a liiiiiiiiittle more, but it was nice! The entity and emails were great!

Crazy game!!! Getting that email telling me to hide; had my heart dropped!!! Great game!!! 10/10!!!

Great little game! I'd love to see this become something bigger. It has a lot of potential! Great job!

Short but fun! keep up the great work with your games, I've really been enjoying them!

7/10 IF THE GAME WAS LONG MORE TO DO IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ACTUALLY REALLY POPULAR AMONG THE YOUTUBERS. NOT BAD I LIKED IT AND THE CONCEPT OF THE IDEA

Pretty good horror. Do wish you could just let the monster out.
(+2)(-1)

I already saw the ending coming and the implications at play the moment those emails hit and the door... makes me wonder, why didn't the other rooms have beds, a computer, and a toilet? Never once saw the person eat or drink either... they didn't question it? The whole scenario played out sus af lmao.

Nice game !

This game very simple but the atmosphere so scary. Great job!

Feed me Seymour!

I particularly liked the tension and mechanic of having to hear the prisoners crying out when the monster devoured them and then cleaning up afterwards. Who would sleep in the next room to that abomination! There's also so much lore that is left ambiguous...who is the company the player is working for? Why are they locked down there for days at a time?

I always give my videos pros and cons on Itch.io and are only my findings after having played and digested the game. I think anyone who can put together a game deserves all the praise regardless of any critiques, and will always give constructive criticism.

Pros:

  • Atmospheric and tension fuelled game with a lot of scope - this could really be utilised as a full 2-3 hour game with layered characters and logs on the computer
  • Subverts your expectations and anticipation - something that is cleverly interwoven with the sci-fi/horror element
  • Great mechanics at play, from the isolated feeling of having matt as your only confidante, opening the prisoner doors and cleaning the guts when the monster has had its feeding time.

Cons:

  • Unfortunately the ending seemed a little rushed/jumpscare was too telegraphed. Would have loved for something like the door to jam or something go wrong and the player would have to solve a puzzle to fix it.
  • Think there was a missed opportunity with regards to the prisoners. It would have created more dramatic tension if the player got to know them a little more. This is more of a nit-picky issue from me, but to have the prisoner's files on the computer and maybe interact with them would heighten the guilt from the player as to feeding them to the monster. Could have played around with this psychological element a little more.
  • Think there could have been other tasks to complete in-between the feeding of the monster and reading emails, to create a higher tension or for puzzle elements.

Overall I loved Entity room - had an SCP vibe throughout and dynamics that have really elevated since Driving Home and Missing Hiker. Would have loved for this to go on longer - to find out more about Matt, the institution that the player is working for, interactions with the prisoners and puzzle elements thrown into the gameplay, this has so much potential that I hope the developer makes a sequel. Can't wait for the next one!

nice game

I love it, thanksXD

Those poor prisoners

This is just Great! Overall Entity Room is a thrilling horror experience that expertly combines elements of sci-fi, suspense, and terror. For fans of the genre, this Itchio indie game is not to be missed. With its menacing alien monster, engrossing storyline, and high-stakes gameplay, Entity Room will leave you breathless and desperate for more.

Nice idea on the life of a 'D-Class'. I would suggest making the ending less obvious by removing the double doors in the player room. Beyond that, nice game.

So fun! I definitely would love to see you expand the game!!

This was amazing! I was super excited to see you had made a new game since I really enjoyed Missing Hiker and Driving Home and this one didn't disappoint! Fantastic job keep it up and looking forward to seeing what you make next!

ABSOLUTE BANGER MUST PLAY! Loved every aspect of this!

This was really good, definitely inspired by SCP but it manages to still be somewhat original especially with the story progression. And it was definitely spooky. Made a video on it.

Hello, my name is Bruno, I make indie game gameplays on YouTube, here in Brazil, I want to congratulate you for the great project, the game has a lot of potential.

Nice game!

Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel.

This was an interesting horror game about taking care of a highly dangerous entity by feeding the entity human flesh and cleaning up the respective cells. I liked the overall feel of the game as it is able to maintain a tense and creepy atmosphere throughout the game since there is no one else but the main character and the entity hanging out with only a wall separating the main character and the entity. Moreover, I liked the use of the SCP idea in the game.

I think the game would be much more immersive if there were more things to do, other than cleaning and feeding the entity. The ending jumpscare was well-executed but it would be much better if there was more build-up towards the ending of the game.

Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.

I really enjoyed this game and the atmosphere had me on edge the whole time. However, after reading the email, I think the jumpscare could've been a bit scarier with a bit more build-up. But nonetheless, brilliant for a free game!

scary

That was Cool But Too Short. 4/5 :(

great Game

Very good game! It's terrifying and unsettling!

Really cool stuff you're making :) I was extremely scared of the third door, I really had to push myself to clean the stains because I thought that the Entity is going to jump out of the door. I really liked this one because it has a very different setting than your other two games. It's a free game, so there's really nothing wrong with it :)
