Like Driving Home, Missing Hiker builds slow foreboding tension for the relatively short playthrough - you do have the sense that someone or SOMETHING is about to pop out from the woods...
Pros:
Slow build horror
With a couple of jump scares (one got me, the other didn't) you'll be questioning things after the credits have rolled - ambiguous ending leaves questions for the player which I enjoyed
Each new episode from the developer shows growth and intrigued to find out what's next
Cons:
Shame that there isn't more to do with the car - its a great mechanic but maybe something could be utilised with it for a future episode?
Apart from interacting with the people in the gas station and the other NPC, ending felt a little rushed with regards to investigating brother's disappearance. Walking between scenes seemed a tad long. Understand this was to create tension though.
Story could have been developed a little more - felt that the relationship between the siblings could have been expanded upon, or that notes left by the brother could be clues creating even more tension.
This was a fantastic short horror game. Love the style and the great horror atmosphere. Scares got me as well. Awesome job can't wait to see more of your work in the future!
nice short horror game. i wished it was longer it was about to get more intense til the last part. nice work looking forward to play more of your games.
I can't express enough how much I loved this game. Down to the tiniest detail, this project provides unique atmosphere, great execution and surprising moments, which did creep me out. No doubt one of the best indie horror games I've played this year.
The strongest part of the game is a very 3 dimensional protagonist, who has a legit motivation - finding their missing brother. Once I got invested with that, it all went up hill from there. The tension, the environment and final ending with the shed - superb.
Fantastic job on the game mate. Cheers to you and best of luck!
Highly debatable and probably the most inaccurate, yet subjective opinion.
First of all, you got to understand this is indie development, not a triple A game or even the projects, which Puppet Combo makes. There is nothing to be shown in this game, but great mechanics, smart storytelling and good visuals. I mean, if you don't want "ok" games, then go to Steam, pay $10 dollars and play some "generic" horror with UE4 assets.
Opinion is an opinion, that's yours to keep, although I really don't agree with you. The game has enough to be great, not "ok".

@Horrorable666
Really loved that game, the jumpscare were on point, I felt like someone was watching me when I was in the woods!
The buddy system could fix 80% of the danger in these games... but as always, it's more fun this way! Nice job on the game!
Creepy, short and sweet.
The jumpscares were very effective and I almost got a mini heart attack lol.
Well done! Looking forward to play your next works.
In the meanwhile, here is my playthrough.
